Elefteriades is my Greek grandmother's last name and it means freeman. For that reason, the focus of Elefteriades is to be free and spread the word about world culture and diversity, exploring the details in the unknown and known parts of the world. Sophistication and boldness are what this brand is about. The mix of classic and modern is also very present in the brand.

It is a Designer brand that focuses on creating runway, couture, and designer collections. Everything is very Avant-Garde, out of the box and designs that haven't been seen before.

Resort 2021 Collection

Theme

This collection focuses completely on Greek beauty. There will be three groups that focus on different concepts. The first group is focused on the mainland of Greece, cities like Athens, Nafplion, and Kalavryta. The second one focuses on the Islands, such as Mykonos, Santorini, and Zakynthos. The last one will focus on the beach and the ocean, with details such as boats, sunsets, sand, and corals. This collection is going to look through and beyond small details that sometimes may not be seen by everyone.

Trend

“Womenswear Forecast SS21.” The Doneger Group, www.doneger.com/dcs/Forecasts/SS21- Forecast-Womens.html.

“Fall 2020 Couture.” Vogue Runway.

The trend for this collection is about color and silhouette. The colors differ from group to group but there is a constancy throughout that pulls out the essence of nature. Concerning the silhouette, DCS states that it is crisp, clean, and modern, and this collection plays around with dimension, making a contrast with stiff and fluid. Vogue Runway shows some examples of Couture Designs such as Viktor & Rolf, Christian Dior, Valentino, Balmain, and Giambattista Valli that play with contrast and dimension in silhouette making it an ongoing trend.

Silhouette

This collection's silhouette revolves around the contrast between stiffness and flowyness. Every single piece has its own unique and bold silhouette and it’s not similar to any other piece in the collection. There are many construction details that add to the silhouette and make the shape of the garment have more dimension. The whole composition creates an opposition of texture and shapes.
